KFS held an online course on the VAR system for young referees

From January 15 to 16, the Kyrgyz Football Union (KFS) conducted online training on the VAR system (Video Assistant Referee) for young football referees.

The course was organized under the guidance of experienced KFS instructors Artem Skopintsev and Sergey Grishchenko. Participants were introduced to the theoretical aspects of the system's operation, including a detailed explanation of VAR protocols, its functioning principles, and the algorithms for interaction between the main referee and the video assistants. Special attention was given to the analysis of game moments and making correct decisions based on video replays.

Sixteen young referees from various regions of Kyrgyzstan participated in the seminar, preparing for the implementation of the VAR system in national competitions.

The main objective of the course was to deepen the theoretical knowledge of referees, prepare them for working with VAR, and establish unified officiating standards that meet international requirements. Conducting such training events is a key step in the development and improvement of football officiating in the country.
