Head of the State National Security Committee noted the increase in salaries for judges
Kamchybek Tashiev, chairman of the State National Security Committee, stated that the main task of judges is not to interfere in politics and avoid corruption, but to focus on delivering fair and justified decisions. He emphasized this at a meeting with representatives of the judicial system and law enforcement agencies in the Issyk-Kul region.
“Judges should not make decisions based on personal connections or bribes. Their work consists of independent and clear decision-making. Of course, the courts themselves should strive to cleanse their ranks and act within the law, but we also have the ability to respond to such situations. We have information that certain judges are engaging in political discussions and communicating with representatives of the authorities. Measures will be taken against such judges in the near future. Documents have already been prepared,” he warned.
Tashiev also reminded about the creation of comfortable working conditions for judges, including salary increases.
“Today, a district court judge receives 250,000 soms, a regional court judge – 300,000 soms, and a Supreme Court judge – about 500,000 soms. We have improved working conditions and increased salaries. Work honestly, we are closely monitoring your work. Only the law can ensure your protection; no other 'roof' can do that,” Tashiev added.
