The heads of the national cardiology centers have been appointed
The press center of the Ministry of Health reports the appointment of new leaders to two national cardiology centers in the country.

According to the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers, Talant Eraliyev has become the director of the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy named after M. Mirrakhimov, while Jalil Sheishenov has headed the Research Institute of Heart Surgery and Organ Transplantation.


First Deputy Minister Aibek Matkerimov noted that the cardiology care system must function smoothly and effectively, emphasizing that the new team must address a number of previously identified issues, ensuring discipline and achieving respectable clinical results.

Talant Eraliyev, born in 1987, graduated from the S. Kirov Military Medical Academy in St. Petersburg in 2011 with a degree in "General Medicine." From 2011 to 2012, he completed an internship in surgery, and then in 2012 in Almaty, he took a primary qualification course in interventional cardiology at the "SEMA" medical center.

From 2012 to 2014, he worked as a senior resident in the surgical department of the Military Hospital in Osh, also serving as a cardiologist at the "Cardio Asia Plus" medical center from 2013 to 2014. From 2016 to 2022, he held the position of head of the surgical department of the same hospital, and from 2019 to 2023, he served as the head of the medical service.

From 2022 to January 2026, Eraliyev worked as a doctor of X-ray endovascular diagnostics at the Kyrgyz-Russian Clinic. He holds a PhD in medical sciences obtained from the E. Meshalkin Institute of Circulatory Pathology and is the chairman of the "Kyrgyz Scientific Medical Society of X-ray Endovascular Surgeons."

Jalil Sheishenov, born in 1975, graduated from the I. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy in 1999 with a degree in "General Medicine." He completed a clinical residency in cardiovascular surgery at the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy from 1999 to 2002.

Sheishenov began his career as a cardiac surgeon at the Research Institute of Heart Surgery and Organ Transplantation, and from 2007 to 2021, he served as the head of the cardiac surgery department at the Scientific Clinical Center in Taraz. From 2021 to 2023, he worked as the deputy director of this center for medical work, and from 2023 to January 2026, he was the chief physician of the Scientific Clinical Center "Bishkek Cardio."

He defended his PhD in medical sciences in 2012 and is the author of four patents, more than 40 scientific articles, and 12 reports presented at international conferences. In his work in Kazakhstan, he was awarded honorary certificates and the "Excellence in Health Care" badge from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

We remind you that the previous heads of these two centers were relieved of their duties on January 12, 2026.
