Migrants are provided with everything necessary: housing, food, clothing, and equipment. The employer fully supports them throughout their stay in Russia, including assistance with document processing, arrival, and departure after one year.

In the comprehensive cleaning department of AO "Kolomyazhskoye," it was noted that the workers from India demonstrate "significant diligence," which allows for the consideration of further attracting foreign specialists.

According to "Fontanka," the salary of Indian janitors is about 100,000 rubles, and the duration of employment is limited to one year. Some of them plan to stay in Russia for a longer period. One of the migrants, who introduced himself as a developer, spoke about his experience working in companies similar to Microsoft, where he used modern technologies such as AI and chatbots.

It is worth noting that previously, migrants from Central Asia in St. Petersburg were restricted from working as couriers and delivery drivers. Governor Alexander Beglov explained this decision as a necessity to return them to communal services, where there is a shortage of labor.

The ban on employing migrants as taxi drivers and couriers in St. Petersburg will remain in effect until the end of 2026.
