In the Novosibirsk region, where about 90,000 migrants work, authorities are exploring the possibility of creating an adaptation center for foreign workers. This initiative is similar to projects previously implemented by the Federal Nationalities Agency (FADN) in several Russian regions as a pilot format. This was reported by the Minister of Regional Policy of Novosibirsk Region, Roman Burdin, at a TASS press conference.

According to Burdin, the region is ready to participate in a federal competition to open such an institution.

The minister noted that the Ministry of Regional Policy is actively working on establishing connections with enterprises and institutions where a significant number of migrants are employed, using employers and the migration service for this purpose.
