During the training, which took place at the St. Petersburg Research Institute of Emergency Medicine named after I. I. Dzhanelidze, the specialists deepened their knowledge in the field of abdominal surgery. Upon completion of the course, the Kyrgyz doctors were awarded the corresponding certificates.
In addition, the doctors from Osh visited the City Mariinsky Hospital, where they were given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with modern equipment and advanced methods of treating diseases of the abdominal organs.
This internship was organized as part of cooperation with the Committee for Health and became part of the implementation of the protocol of the 13th meeting of the intergovernmental commission of St. Petersburg and Kyrgyzstan, which focuses on the development of trade, economic, scientific, technical, and cultural ties.
