According to information provided by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, an incident occurred in St. Petersburg where the player of "Zenit," Andrey Mostovoy, was targeted for kidnapping.

Local sources report that around midnight, Mostovoy exited his vehicle on Vyazovaya Street. At that moment, a group of men dressed in black approached him, grabbed him, and attempted to forcibly drag him into a black Hyundai. The footballer showed resilience and was able to fend off the attackers.

It turned out that these same criminals had kidnapped businessman Sergey S. the day before, forcing him to transfer 210,000 rubles to them and demanding an additional sum of 10 million rubles. The suspects were detained, and the Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case regarding the kidnapping.

During the investigation, it became known that the organizer of the attack on the footballer was a second-year student at one of the universities in St. Petersburg. He was arrested in Kudrovo, located in the Vsevolozhsky District of the Leningrad Region. This was reported by Irina Volk, the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
