A woman responsible for the disturbances at the Issyk-Kul International Airport has expressed her apologies and fully compensated for the material damage.

According to "Airports of Kyrgyzstan," the amount of damage was 59,379 soms.

A video of the incident at the airport has surfaced online. The Interior Department of the Issyk-Kul region reported that several passengers were detained and taken to the police following the events.

As reported by the press service of the Interior Department of the Issyk-Kul region, on December 22, information was received from the security of the Issyk-Kul Airport at the Issyk-Kul District Internal Affairs Department. The message stated that some passengers of a flight that had landed at the airport were violating public order, not complying with demands, and creating conflict situations.

This information was registered in the log of offenses at the Issyk-Kul District Internal Affairs Department, after which a preliminary investigation was initiated.

An operational investigative group from the Tamchy village police station was dispatched to the scene, where necessary actions were taken. During the investigation, it was found that on the night of December 22, 2025, at approximately 03:11, a plane from "Avia Traffic Company," flying the Moscow–Bishkek route, was unable to land at the Manas International Airport due to poor weather conditions. As an alternative, it landed at the Issyk-Kul International Airport in the village of Tamchy.

According to local police, by about 03:40, all 182 passengers were disembarked and placed in the airport's "sterile" zone. Around 04:15, some passengers began demanding to re-board the aircraft and expressed dissatisfaction, resulting in the airport security implementing temporary restrictions.

At this time, one passenger, born in 1982, K.R., while in the "sterile" zone, intentionally threw computer equipment onto the floor, damaging the airport's computer and printer.

During further investigations, the following individuals were taken to the Tamchy village police station for questioning:

- K.Ch., born in 1976, a resident of the Chui region;

- A.N., born in 1984, a resident of the city of Tokmok;

- M.A., born in 1986, a resident of the Nookat district.

Currently, necessary investigations regarding this incident are ongoing. The results of the investigation will allow for a legal assessment of the actions of the mentioned individuals in accordance with the law.
