The head of the Ministry of Health, Kanbek Dosmambetov, visited the "Maksat" center, where he familiarized himself with the working conditions and infrastructure intended for future development.
The main goal of the new town will be to provide comprehensive assistance to children suffering from cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, developmental delays, and other diseases.
The town will include specialized centers for inpatient, outpatient, and day rehabilitation. Its structure will also include a correction center for children with autism spectrum disorders and Down syndrome, a modern center for children with cerebral palsy with 150 beds, as well as a dormitory for parents and medical staff. Additionally, educational and methodological blocks are planned.
Within the town, rehabilitation halls, a hydrotherapy pool, blocks for physical therapy and kinesitherapy, massage rooms, physiotherapy, sensory integration, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and psychology offices, as well as work therapy zones will be created. Open spaces for rehabilitation and play will also include elements of hippotherapy, which will help improve the physical and psycho-emotional condition of children.
The foundation of the town's operations will be based on the principles of evidence-based medicine, a multidisciplinary approach, and individualized rehabilitation programs with active family involvement.
Special attention will be paid to the training and professional development of specialists in the field of rehabilitation, as well as the development of a family-oriented assistance model, which will help form a sustainable human resource potential.
This project fully aligns with the state policy in the field of child health protection, medical rehabilitation, and workforce training, and is viewed as a model for further implementation in other regions of the country.
The implementation of this project will significantly enhance the quality and accessibility of rehabilitation assistance for children, improve their functional and social recovery indicators, strengthen the role of the family in the treatment process, and create a national center of competence in pediatric rehabilitation.
