New Police Buildings Opened in Ak-Suy District

On February 5, a ceremonial opening of two new police territorial points took place in the villages of Soviet and Ak-Suu, located in the Ak-Suu district of the Issyk-Kul region.

According to information from the regional Internal Affairs Department, these facilities were constructed in remote areas of the district with the support of President Sadyr Japarov and the initiative of Minister of Internal Affairs Ulan Niyazbekov.

The ceremony was attended by the head of the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region, Murat Boronov, the prosecutor of the Ak-Suu district, representatives of local authorities, elders, police veterans, and local residents.

These buildings became the 13th and 14th in the Issyk-Kul region to be built and put into operation. The region plans to construct about 40 more police buildings, with five expected in the near future.

Murat Boronov, the head of the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region, noted that work is continuously underway across the country to improve the material and technical base of law enforcement agencies.

The Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region added that the new buildings are fully equipped for the effective performance of official tasks by police officers. They include service living quarters and create conditions for quality citizen service, maintaining public order, and combating crime.
