Zhanbolotov noted that contracts with contractors always include a clause obliging them to rectify shortcomings and defects at their own expense.
“We are responsible for the quality of the road facilities we accept. We have a laboratory, as well as licensed technical supervision assigned to each project. The reasons for the emergence of defects are varied, but they must be rectified. According to the law, the warranty period for completed work has been increased from one year to three,” he added.
In addition, the construction and reconstruction of 119 kilometers of the road network and bridges is planned in Bishkek for 2026. Among these works, 19 kilometers will consist of new roads, while 100 kilometers will be reconstructed sections.
