In the Chuy region, in the Moscow district, issues related to providing settlements with "blue fuel" were discussed. This was reported by a Turmush correspondent.

Last week, deputies held meetings with local residents, during which the main question concerned the gasification of villages.

A representative of the LLC "Gazprom Kyrgyzstan" commented on the situation with the gasification of rural areas.

"The gasification project for the Moscow district includes three villages: Petrovka, Belovodskoye, and Ak-Suu. In Belovodskoye, it is planned to connect 7,800 subscribers, which will require the laying of 152 kilometers of gas pipelines. However, there is currently a shortage of gas in the northern part of Kyrgyzstan. Therefore, the primary focus is on the complete gasification of Bishkek within the next 3–4 years. This is an important task set by the government to address environmental issues such as smog," he explained.

As for the timelines for gasification in the Moscow district, there is no expectation of connecting the aforementioned villages to gas within the next three years. This is due to changes in gas transportation, which now comes from Russia through Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, unlike the Soviet era when it came from neighboring countries," the company representative added.

The villages of Belovodskoye and Ak-Suu are located within the Narzan rural district, while Petrovka serves as the administrative center of the Tört-Gül rural district.
