It is not worth saving on clothing for schoolchildren, believes sanitary doctor Maria Kushubakova, who spoke on the air of "Birinchi Radio." She emphasized the importance of adhering to the standards of school uniforms established in the country since 2015.

According to Kushubakova, the uniform should reflect a secular and business style, which is particularly relevant for Kyrgyzstan. It is important that the clothing does not have religious symbols or elements associated with informal groups. Currently, many students prefer to wear ripped jeans and oversized hoodies; however, such items are not suitable for educational institutions. "Despite the preferences of children and parents, a number of schools have established strict requirements for appearance," noted the sanitary doctor.

In her opinion, clothing significantly affects self-esteem, psychological state, and overall well-being of both children and adults.

"Although the state does not impose a specific style of clothing, it is important to adhere to the principle of 'white top, dark bottom,'" she added. However, according to Kushubakova, the main problem lies in the material. Parents often choose cheaper options, but this can lead to an increase in synthetic components in clothing. She emphasized that all uniforms for children up to size 32 should be made from natural fabrics, despite their higher cost. "The health of children should be a priority," she explained.

Kushubakova also noted that comfortable and breathable uniforms contribute to better attention in class. "If a child is uncomfortable, they will be distracted, sweat, and feel irritated. Some synthetic fabrics can cause allergic reactions. Therefore, it is advisable to choose clothing made from natural materials. It is also important to buy clothes that fit, as many parents buy clothing for growth, which is incorrect. You cannot save on children," she added.

Earlier, parliament member Dastan Bekeshev expressed the opinion that it is necessary to abandon strict uniforms and suits in educational institutions.

In turn, the Ministry of Education supported the assertion that classic clothing helps to instill discipline and reduce social differences among students.
