Residents are asking the question: "On what grounds is the work being carried out if there is not even a project passport?"
Statement from "Bishkekvodokanal"
Representatives of the municipal enterprise "Bishkekvodokanal" commented on the incident. According to their information, the damage occurred during the construction of the new building for secondary school No. 72.As a result of not adhering to the permissible distances during excavation work, the soil collapsed, causing the destruction of a 250 mm diameter pipeline and a water leak, the enterprise noted.

"To prevent further leaks, the pipeline was shut off from both sides. It is also planned to relocate this line by the company 'Goha Group,' as it falls within the construction zone," the "Bishkekvodokanal" added.
The company assured that the supply of drinking water continues as usual thanks to the looped network.
