
The wrestler from Kyrgyzstan took third place in the 72 kg category
The international wrestling tournament MUHAMET MALO–2026 took place in Tirana, where Kyrgyz athlete Razzak Beishekeev won a bronze medal in the weight category up to 72 kilograms. This was reported by the National Agency for Physical Culture and Sports.
Beishekeev began his performance at the tournament with a tense match against Russian wrestler Magomed Barakhoev, in which he won with a minimal advantage — 7:6. He then confidently defeated another representative from Russia, Kamil Akhmetvaleev, with a score of 7:1.
In the semifinals, Razzak faced Kazakhstani Nikolai Khapko and won — 10:3, but in the decisive match for a place in the final, he lost to Iranian wrestler Mohammad Javad Rezaei with a score of 1:5.
In the match for third place, Beishekeev demonstrated excellent technique and ended the fight early, pinning Almatbek Amanbek from Kazakhstan with a score of 3:0, which earned him the bronze medal of this prestigious tournament.
