On February 2 in Bishkek, an unscheduled inspection was conducted at preschool institution No. 68, initiated by Deputy Mayor Victoria Mozgacheva. During this inspection, as reported by the city's mayor's office, serious violations in financial discipline were identified. It turned out that some educators were accepting payments for children's meals into their personal electronic wallets and were charging amounts exceeding the established norms.
Furthermore, it was revealed that the kindergarten administration, including the head of the economic department, was aware of what was happening but did not take any steps to stop it. This indicates the presence of a persistent scheme for illegal money collection involving officials of the institution. These actions violate the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic and indicate improper performance of official duties by responsible persons.
As a result of the inspection, municipal authorities took appropriate measures. All collected materials have been sent to law enforcement agencies for legal assessment and further decisions in accordance with the law.
It is also emphasized that efforts to ensure transparency in the financial activities of educational institutions will continue and be strengthened.
