Deputy Ismanali Joroev, speaking at a session of the Jogorku Kenesh, drew attention to the condition of the Karagachev grove. He emphasized that this area is not just a park, but an important green zone established by botanist Fetisov in 1981. The area of the grove is 136.6 hectares, but only 40 hectares are being properly utilized, while the rest of the territory requires attention and care.
In the grove, tree species such as elm, linden, maple, hazel, and birch grow, and the Komsomol and Pioneer lakes are also located there. Joroev noted that during the summer period, only one lake is operational, many trees are wilting, and the irrigation system is not functioning properly. Additionally, there is a lack of sanitary cleaning of the area.
The deputy called for the development of a municipal program for the improvement of the Karagachev grove. Among the proposed measures are the inventory of dead trees, planting new saplings, restoring the irrigation system, and the phased transformation of the grove into an ecological park. He also suggested equipping bike paths with lighting, installing a dock for small boats on the lakes, and creating a unique "mini-Venice."
