It is specified that the implementation of the directives for introducing a unified design code, which was previously established by the mayor's office, is ongoing. Work in this direction will continue.
Entrepreneurs and responsible persons were informed that according to legislative requirements, the signage must first be in the state Kyrgyz language and then in the official language," the mayor's office added.
It was previously reported that a unified design code for commercial entities was introduced in Kayindy.
According to representatives of the mayor's office, this design code was implemented to improve urban infrastructure and affected about 100 commercial entities, including shops and service sector enterprises.

Mayor Rysbek Sheishenov emphasized that before the introduction of the new design code, explanatory work was carried out with local residents. "The mayor's office staff informed sellers and service workers about the new code. During discussions, it was suggested that signs, billboards, and posters be designed in colors reminiscent of the city’s coat of arms. Correct information helped convince many, and about 100 sellers and service workers installed the unified design code at their own expense," the mayor added.
He also noted that the purpose of the design code is to organize signs, announcements, and posters that obscure architectural elements of buildings. "We are focused on improving infrastructure, using inscriptions in the state Kyrgyz and official languages," Sheishenov concluded.
