According to information from the press service, verification of all submitted data is currently underway to form ranking indicators.
Official results will be published only after all checks are completed and approved on the government portal. The ministry emphasized that the selection of candidates is conducted strictly in accordance with established rules, ensuring transparency, objectivity, and equal opportunities for all participants.
“The final ranking is formed based on the average score of the education document and the assessment of English language proficiency. At this moment, the official results of the competitive selection have not yet been approved or published. The results will be sent to the Hungarian side only after all procedures are completed,” the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation added.

It is reported that the Kyrgyz side proposes a preliminary list of candidates; however, the final decision on granting scholarships and enrollment is made by the Hungarian side.
Officials urge participants in the selection competition to understand the ongoing checks and wait for the official results.
Earlier, readers of 24.kg noted that in 2026, the process of national selection for the international scholarship program Stipendium Hungaricum raised many questions among applicants.
According to them, unlike previous years, this year the Ministry did not publish a general list of recommended candidates but sent decisions individually, which caused dissatisfaction due to the lack of a public outcome.
This approach, according to the applicants, reduces the transparency of the process, as:
- there is no opportunity for public oversight;
- it is impossible to compare selection results;
- evaluation criteria and scoring system have not been published;
- candidates did not receive official explanations for the reasons for rejection.
According to available data, among those who did not pass the selection, there are candidates with high academic results, including a high GPA, IELTS scores, and achievements in Olympiads and competitions.
