Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Citizens of Kyrgyzstan will soon return from Bahrain and Kuwait

In the coming days, the return of Kyrgyz citizens currently in Bahrain and Kuwait is expected. The Director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Seytek Jumakadyrov, announced this in a recent statement.

According to him, the evacuation of citizens from the Middle East region is ongoing as part of the president's directive. They are expected to return via Saudi Arabia.

Currently, there are 82 Kyrgyz citizens in Bahrain and 480 in Kuwait. It is anticipated that around 70 people will return from Kuwait and approximately 40 from Bahrain. It is important to note that the composition of those returning may change depending on the personal circumstances of the citizens. Additionally, some Kyrgyz citizens are also in Qatar," he added.

Previously, 420 Kyrgyz citizens were successfully evacuated from the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia on three flights. These flights were organized at the expense of the state and were free for the citizens," Jumakadyrov reported.
