In 2026, the race will take place under the motto Tradition to Trail with the support of the Turkey Tourism Promotion and Development Agency and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Turkey.
The main distance of the event will be 68 kilometers and represents the Alanya Ultra Trail (AUT) route. Participants will also be able to choose from four additional distances:
42 km Taurus Mountain Trail (TMT)
27 km Keykubat Mountain Run (KMR)
18 km Cleopatra Short Trail (CST)
5 km Alanya Castle Run (ACR)
The start of the main route is planned at the Damlataş Cave and the famous Cleopatra Beach. The route passes through historical sites, including the Tophane area, the Red Tower (Kızıl Kule), the ancient shipyard, and the Alanya Fortress, as well as the covered market Bedesten. After the city streets, participants head into the Taurus Mountains, and the finish returns to Cleopatra Beach.
The organizers emphasize that the routes follow historical paths once used by the nomadic tribes of the Turkish Yoruks, who traditionally inhabited this region. They connect the mountain peaks of the Taurus Mountains with the Mediterranean coast.
Antalya, in turn, is one of the key tourist destinations in the country, attracting millions of tourists each year due to its mild climate, beaches, and historical attractions.
Alanya, one of the popular resorts in the region, is famous for its 13th-century fortress built during the Seljuk era, its historical shipyard, and the Red Tower, which now functions as an ethnographic museum.
Among the natural attractions that draw tourists are the Incekum and Cleopatra beaches, the Sapadere Canyon, the Dim and Damlataş caves, as well as the Dim River and highlands. The city is also known for its diverse cuisine and vibrant nightlife, which includes bars, concerts, and entertainment venues.
