Residents of the Aravan district can undergo free diagnostics

Since March 2026, a mobile multi-diagnostic complex has been operating in the Aravan district of the Osh region. Its main goal is to provide local residents with free medical examinations and consultations from specialists. It is expected that the complex will remain in this area for about three months, after which it will be sent to the Kochkor district of the Naryn region.

According to information from the Ministry of Health, this complex offers the population free examinations, treatment, and various diagnostic services. About 147,000 people live in the Aravan district, and for many of them, this is a great opportunity to receive medical check-ups without having to leave their district.

The complex is equipped with modern medical equipment, allowing for a wide range of studies and diagnostics of various diseases. It includes offices for doctors, a laboratory for analysis, a computed tomography scanner, a mammography machine, an X-ray machine, a gastroscope, a mobile screening center, and a control center. There are also minibuses for transporting patients, including an ambulance.

Since its launch in Kyrgyzstan in November 2021, the multi-diagnostic complex has been operating under a five-year agreement between the country's government, the Islamic Development Bank, and the charitable foundation "Fael Khair." The project is implemented with the support of the operator Normeca Health Management and aims to improve the accessibility of medical care and diagnostics for residents of remote regions, particularly rural areas.

In 2025, the mobile clinic conducted examinations for 33,843 residents and provided 86,262 specialist consultations. Patients were seen by family doctors and specialists such as gynecologists, ophthalmologists, ENT doctors, neurologists, cardiologists, dentists, gastroenterologists, urologists, endocrinologists, and surgeons.

Throughout this year, various laboratory and instrumental studies were also conducted, including 2,576 mammograms, 1,826 computed tomography scans, 2,537 X-rays, ultrasound examinations of many organs, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, cystoscopy, laboratory tests, rapid tests, and electrocardiography. Specialists from the complex also performed 280 surgical operations.
