The Union of Artists asks Sadyr Japarov to protect their building in Bishkek
The Union of Artists of Kyrgyzstan has appealed to President Sadyr Japarov with a request to protect their building located in Bishkek. According to the authors of the appeal, this building is an important element of the country's cultural heritage.

In their message, they emphasize that this building has a nearly 90-year history and has long been a center for the development of visual arts, as well as a venue for exhibitions, cultural events, and meetings of creative individuals.

“This is not just a building, but a part of the national cultural fund, within the walls of which new generations of artists were formed and significant exhibitions took place,” the appeal highlights.



The authors of the appeal emphasize that for many years the Union of Artists has been led by outstanding masters who have made significant contributions to the development of art in Kyrgyzstan.

The letter expresses concern about the fate of the building, as changes in ownership or other measures could negatively affect its historical and cultural value.

In this context, the Union of Artists has put forward several demands:
