A large-scale tree planting campaign starts in the residential areas of Bishkek

On this day, celebrated on March 20, a large-scale ecological campaign will kick off in Bishkek. From March 22 to April 5, a series of clean-up days and tree plantings will take place in various residential areas of the city, aimed at transforming new districts of the capital into green, well-maintained spaces.

The greening process will be implemented in several stages. The action plan covers key residential zones: on March 22, work will begin in Bakai-Ata, then on March 27, it will continue in Ak-Ordo-2 and Ak-Ordo-3, and on March 28 in Ak-Ordo-1. In the following days, the campaign will include Ruhiy-Muras (March 29) and Kalys-Ordo (April 4), concluding on April 5 in Muras-Ordo.

The initiative is being implemented by the "Zhasyl Konushtar" ("Green Residential Areas") project, organized by the Resource Center for the Elderly in collaboration with the organization "A More Inclusive Society." The main goal of the project is not only to improve the ecological situation and reduce dust levels in inadequately greened areas but also to unite local residents. The organizers hope for active participation from city dwellers in beautifying their yards and creating comfortable, shaded living conditions.

In addition to practical activities for planting seedlings, the project includes educational events and support for local ecological initiatives, contributing to the creation of a sustainable urban ecosystem. The involvement of residents plays a key role in the success of the campaign: the organizers invite all interested Bishkek residents to join the clean-up days on the specified dates.
