Children born between January 1 and December 31, 2019, as well as in 2020, will be eligible to enter the first grade.
Children over 8 years old, as well as those who do not have the necessary documents confirming the identity of the child or their parents (legal representatives), can be enrolled only by the decision of the Commission for Child Affairs.
Enrollment will take place in two stages through the CTS system "Electronic Enrollment" in all regions of Kyrgyzstan.
The first stage will begin on April 1, 2026, at 10:00 and will be available for children whose parents have permanent registration in the microdistrict of the chosen school. The second stage, which will also start on June 1, 2026, at 10:00, is intended for all other children if there are available spots in the schools.
Legal representatives must register the child on the platform 1mektep.edu.gov.kg.
It is important to note that when enrolling in the first grade, schools are not allowed to conduct any tests — assessments, exams, competitions, or interviews.
