According to the politician, the Central Election Commission (CEC) is obliged to issue the mandate within three days, but it has already been 19 days since he has been waiting.
On his social media page, Chyngyz Aydarbekov shared that recently there have been many rumors surrounding his name, spread by anonymous pages and unknown sources.
He noted that the public did not succumb to provocations and condemned those who are trying to discredit him.
Aydarbekov, who has 22 years of experience in the diplomatic field, emphasized that during all this time he has not received a single negative review; on the contrary, he has received thanks, including letters from presidents. He also added that his biography underwent thorough verification, which allowed him to hold high positions.
He now reported that the CEC has been checking his documents for 19 days.
"If the court's decision has already been made, then the Ministry of Internal Affairs issues a certificate within a day, and it reaches the CEC within three days. The appointment of a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh is not the prerogative of the CEC — they must act in accordance with the will of the people. The CEC should have issued the mandate within three days. Today is already the 19th day. This has never happened in the history of independent Kyrgyzstan. The CEC should not get involved in intrigues, but simply fulfill its duties," Aydarbekov commented.
It should be noted that in the last parliamentary elections, he ran for constituency No. 21 in Bishkek, where he took third place with over 6,000 votes. Aydarbekov was supposed to take the place of deputy Kuanychbek Kongantieva, who himself refused the mandate.
The CEC reported that they are waiting for information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding Aydarbekov's case.
