Chingiz Aydarbekov, former deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, expressed his opinion on the CEC's decision to delay the issuance of the mandate.

It is worth reminding that on March 10, Kuvanychbek Kongantiev resigned his mandate. Chingiz Aydarbekov was next on the list, but the CEC has not yet made a decision on the transfer of the mandate, citing "certain circumstances that require clarification through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs."

Aydarbekov noted that his experience in diplomacy spans about 22 years.

"During this time, I have not received any negative feedback. On the contrary, my achievements have been recognized at various levels, including letters of appreciation from the president," he stated.

Between 2010 and 2011, he served as deputy head of the foreign policy department of the presidential administration under Roza Otunbayeva. Later, by the appointment of Almazbek Atambayev, he became the ambassador to Japan. He worked as the Minister of Foreign Affairs under Sooronbay Jeenbekov for two years and was also an advisor to Sadyr Japarov on strategic foreign policy issues. When Japarov decided to run for president, Aydarbekov stepped down to avoid receiving a salary without work and shifted to public activities. He was elected as a deputy of the VII convocation of the Jogorku Kenesh, based on the trust of the voters. "My biography and career stages have been checked many times since I began my political career," he added.

Aydarbekov is puzzled about what new facts could have arisen in his life after the elections that might prompt the CEC to conduct additional checks.

"If there were violations or any illegal actions, measures would have been taken immediately, right? I submitted my candidacy for the VIII convocation, and the CEC checked all the data and registered me. In the elections in November 2025, I received 6,259 votes. This indicates the trust of the people. What could have happened in these four months that the CEC has been checking me for 19 days? The Ministry of Internal Affairs could provide information about any court cases in one day. Such data is submitted to the CEC within three days. During this time, some deputies have already started their work in the Jogorku Kenesh," he emphasized.

According to Aydarbekov, the CEC must fulfill its duties and implement the will of the voters, rather than getting caught up in intrigues.

The CEC must act according to the Constitution and issue the mandate to the deputy entrusted by the voters within three days. Today is already the 19th day. Such a situation has not occurred in the history of independent Kyrgyzstan. The CEC must fulfill its responsibilities without falling into intrigues.
