The event was attended by the Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Jalal-Abad Region, Urmat Samaev, the Mayor of Manas, Abdypata Matkalikov, as well as representatives of the People's Revolution of April 7.
Anarkhan Zhanibaeva, one of the participants in the April events, emphasized the significance of Erkindik Square as a historical site where crucial political changes occurred. She also highlighted the importance of preserving this space for future generations.
During the events of April 7, 2010, in the Jalal-Abad region, 62 people were injured, two of whom died from their wounds.
