The event was attended by the mayor of Talas, Nurgazy Cholponkulov, the presidential representative in the Talas region, Ermat Jumayev, as well as participants of the events of April 7, 2010, and relatives of the deceased.
Event participants laid wreaths at the monument to the heroes of the revolution. A moment of silence was then announced, followed by a prayer and a triple military salute.
The program continued at the Talas Regional Drama Theater, where the audience could see a theatrical prologue reflecting the events of those days. An exhibition titled "April 7 Through the Eyes of Schoolchildren" was also organized, where young artists presented their works, expressing their views on the country's history.
This year marks the 16th anniversary of the tragic events of April 7, 2010.
