Three wrestlers have won gold medals for the country
At the current Asian Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship taking place in Kyrgyzstan, the national team continues to show outstanding results.
Following the successful performance of Aftandil Talaibek uulu, the team has added two new gold medals. In the 87 kg category, Asan Janishov impressed everyone with a convincing victory over Iranian Golamreza Farokhisenjani with a score of 11:4 in the final.
Akjol Mahmudov, the main favorite of Kyrgyz wrestling in the 77 kg weight category, once again confirmed his title. In a tense final match against Iranian Ali Zabihollah Osku, he won with a score of 3:3, thanks to better quality of actions.
Thus, Bishkek has already won three gold medals at this tournament.
