On December 22, the championship of the Kyrgyz Republic in Greco-Roman wrestling for adults was inaugurated at the small arena "Zhashtyk" in Bishkek.
Present at the opening ceremony were Kazybek Moldazhiyev, the director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports under the Cabinet of Ministers of the KR, as well as representatives of the Wrestling Federation of Kyrgyzstan, coaches, athletes, and fans of this sport.
In his speech, Kazybek Moldazhiyev expressed his wishes to the championship participants, urging them to demonstrate a high level of preparation and fair competition.
The competitions will take place from December 22 to 23, with athletes competing in weight categories: 55, 63, 72, 82, and 97 kg on the first day. The final matches are scheduled for 19:00.
