For many years, he held the position of senior coach-instructor in Greco-Roman wrestling at the Republican Olympic Reserve School named after Sh. Sydykov.
Kalilov was awarded numerous honors, including:
- Honored Worker of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic (presidential decree, January 2003)
- Certificate of Honor of the Kyrgyz Republic for contributions to the development of sports and tourism (March 1998)
- Title of Honored Coach of the Kyrgyz Republic in Greco-Roman wrestling (awarded on October 20, 1990)
- Title of Excellence in Physical Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic (awarded on August 24, 1999)
The farewell to the outstanding coach will take place on December 23, 2026, at 09:00 at his home in Bishkek. He will be buried in his native village of Kosh-Korgon, located in the Chuy region.
