At the age of 71, the outstanding national category chess judge and distinguished educator Aliymakhan Narzhigitova passed away, as reported by her relatives.

Aliymakhan Narzhigitova was born on December 5, 1953, in the village of Uspenovka, located in the Jany-Jol district of the Jalal-Abad region.

Education

From 1970 to 1974, she studied at the "Physics and Mathematics" faculty of OGPi, majoring in mathematics. In 1985, she completed her studies at the faculty of ideological personnel, obtaining higher political education in the party training system. From 2010 to 2017, she was again a student at OGPi, receiving a degree in physical education. Her total work experience amounted to an impressive 54 years.

Work Experience

Aliymakhan Narzhigitova began her professional career in 1974 as a mathematician at a school, and then from 1977 to 1983, she taught mathematics at GSPTU No. 12. From 1983 to 1987, she served as the deputy director at the same educational institution, after which she returned to teaching mathematics until 1990. From 1990 to 2004, she worked as a coach and teacher at DYuSSh No. 1. Later, from 2004 to 2021, she was the deputy director and coach-teacher at DYuKFP under DYuSSHor. In the final years of her career, from 2023 to 2025, she worked as a mathematician and head of a club at Secondary School No. 10 in Bishkek.

Awards

Among the awards received by Aliymakhan Narzhigitova are the Government Honorary Certificate awarded in 2003, as well as regional and city Honorary Certificates presented to her from 1977 to 2020. In 2006, she was awarded the title of distinguished educator, and in 2012, she received the status of national category judge. In 2019, she was awarded the "Master of the Teaching Profession" medal.

Among her students are notable chess players such as Melis Mamatov — a master of sports of the Kyrgyz Republic, FIDE master, Asian champion, and multiple champion of Kyrgyzstan, as well as a winner of international tournaments in countries such as Spain, Slovakia, Russia, and Sri Lanka. Also noteworthy is Kadyrkova Begimai, a candidate for master of sports, who has twice become the champion of the Kyrgyz Republic and has also won titles of champion of Yakutia and the Trans-Baikal region among women, participating in world tournaments in France and Spain. Azamat and Jusup Kozubai uulu are also multiple champions of the district, city, and region, as well as international competitions outside the country.
