Naryn runner Tolgonai Shaaeva won a gold medal at the Istanbul Marathon

Tolgonai Shaaeva, who works as a teacher at the Naryn Pedagogical College, won the Istanbul Marathon, as reported by Meerim Duyshieva from the college's media center.

The competition took place on November 2 in Istanbul (Turkey), where professional runners from various corners of the world gathered to participate in the international "Istanbul Marathon".

Representing Kyrgyzstan, Tolgonai Shaaeva completed the distance of 42 kilometers in 3 hours and 38 minutes, which earned her the gold medal.

The second place in the race was taken by an athlete from Spain, who finished with a time of 3 hours and 48 minutes, while the third place went to a representative from Turkey, who completed the distance in 4 hours.

With her achievements, Tolgonai inspired the youth, demonstrating that perseverance and hard work can lead to success on a global level.

The entire staff of the Naryn Pedagogical College and the residents of the city wholeheartedly congratulate T. Shaaeva on her well-deserved victory.
