At these games, Kyrgyzstan will be represented by two athletes.
Arthur Saparbekov, a 19-year-old skier, will represent the country in cross-country skiing.
In the summer of 2025, he trained on the picturesque shores of Issyk-Kul, and in August he participated in three competitions at the Eastern European Cup held in Shchuchinsk (Kazakhstan).
To prepare for these competitions, Arthur underwent training camps under the auspices of the Olympic Sports Directorate, also in Shchuchinsk.
From November to December, he was at a training camp in Goms (Switzerland), after which he returned to Shchuchinsk for another training session that concluded on January 26.
At the Olympics, Arthur will compete in two disciplines — the sprint and the 10 km race.
