This tournament, known as Muhamet Malo, will be held in the capital of the country, Tirana, from February 25 to March 1, 2026.
Makhmudov represents the national team of Kyrgyzstan and will compete in the weight category up to 82 kg.
Recently, on February 13, he achieved victory with a score of 5:2 against Bulgarian wrestler Aik Mnatsakanyan at the SUPER 4 WRESTLING tournament.
The tournament in Albania will be his second official competition as part of the Kyrgyzstan national team after the Olympic Games in Paris, where he won a bronze medal.
It is also worth noting that in November 2025, Makhmudov won a gold medal at the Islamic Games held in Saudi Arabia.
