The Football Federation of Kazakhstan has decided to appoint Begaiym Kyrgyzbaeva as the head coach of the women's national team.
Kyrgyzbaeva is one of the most successful female football players in Kazakhstan. Throughout her career, she has been the national champion 11 times and has won the Kazakhstan Cup 10 times. Since 2003, she has represented the national team, playing 85 matches and scoring 17 goals — a record for the team.
Her appointment as head coach is a natural continuation of her successful career as both a player and a coach. She has worked with the clubs "Okzhetpes" and "Yelimay," and also served as an assistant in the coaching staff of the national team.
