At the ranking tournament in Greco-Roman wrestling in Albania, Kyrgyz athletes managed to win two bronze medals. This became known thanks to information provided by United World Wrestling (UWW).
In the weight category up to 72 kilograms, Razak Beishkeyev reached the semifinals, where he faced a wrestler from Iran and, unfortunately, lost to him. However, in the bronze medal match, he won against a representative from Kazakhstan.
Uzur Juzupbekov, competing in the weight category up to 97 kilograms, faced a Russian wrestler in the quarterfinals, who eventually reached the finals, giving the Kyrgyz athlete a chance to continue fighting for a medal.
In the consolation tournament, Uzur Juzupbekov managed to win against wrestlers from Azerbaijan and Iran, thus securing a bronze medal.
