The boxing team from Kyrgyzstan is preparing for the Asian Championship, which will take place in Mongolia.

The tournament, organized under the auspices of World Boxing, will be held from March 28 to April 11, 2026.

The team, led by head coach Daniyar Tologon uulu, will feature eight boxers.

Preparation for the championship took place in China, where the Kyrgyz athletes trained at a training camp.

At the previous IBA Asian Boxing Championship in 2024, the Kyrgyz team won two bronze medals.

The medalists were Ryspek Bektenov in the 60 kg weight category and Mirzahid Imam Nazarov in the 63.5 kg weight class.
