The football club "Toktogul," which is a newcomer in the Joghorku League, parted ways with head coach Sergey Puchkov from Ukraine.
The season for the team started with a promising victory over "Ilbirs" with a score of 3:2, however, the subsequent matches turned out to be unsuccessful — two narrow defeats against "Bars" (1:2) and "Muras United" (0:1).
In the fourth round, "Toktogul" faced the outsider "Neftchi" and suffered a heavy defeat of 0:3, which led to the club falling into the lower part of the league table.
With Puchkov's dismissal, his assistant Igor Pokarinin also left the team.
For Puchkov, this is already his third dismissal in Kyrgyzstan in the past year: in February 2025, he was fired from the position of head coach of the U-20 national team after a failure at the Asian Cup, and at the end of the same year, he was dismissed from "Muras United".
