On December 11, a solemn celebration of the 90th anniversary of the National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev took place, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture.

Among the guests of the event were representatives of culture and art, including the Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy Mirbek Mambetaliev, the Ambassador of Hungary Sandor Dorogi, the Chairman of the Union of Artists of Kyrgyzstan Jakshybek Junushev, and the former director of the museum Miroo Zhangarachev.

Minister Mambetaliev emphasized the importance of continued support for the museum from the Ministry of Culture, noting the significance of developing scientific work and interaction with society. He also highlighted the implementation of new technologies, digital archives, and exhibitions as ways to improve the museum's operations.

Additionally, the minister expressed pride that the museum's collection includes works by renowned Kyrgyz artists such as Semyon Chuykov, Gapar Aitiev, Sabyrbek Akylbekov, Lydia Ilyina, Andrey Mikhalyev, Laszlo Meszaros, Turgunbay Sadikov, Jumabay Umotov, and Theodor Herzen.

After the official part of the event, visitors had the opportunity to enjoy the premiere of musical works created for the museum's anniversary, an exhibition of applied arts titled "Uya," an archival exposition "Museale-90," as well as a personal exhibition by artist Abay Nasirdin and a crafts fair "Khan-Bazar."
