One reader shared: "For example, the Odyssey car has a flat tire, and we also have a side cut. Further down the road, there are also cars stopped. I believe that those who left the stones on the road should be held accountable, as this is true cruelty towards people."
The Ministry of Transport and Communications informed Kaktus.media that planned construction works are underway in this area, which comply with the approved project documentation and all necessary regulations.
“At the time of recording the video material, the first layer of asphalt concrete pavement (Binder Course) was laid in both directions of traffic. In the central dividing zone, 60 cm wide, a base with bitumen impregnation is being constructed to enhance adhesion when laying the upper layer of SMA (stone mastic asphalt),” the agency clarified.
To prevent premature destruction of the base due to vehicle traffic, it was decided to temporarily lay a stone strip in a single row.This strip serves several functions:
- preventing oncoming vehicle traffic;
- maintaining the integrity of the base until the upper layer is laid;
- ensuring safety for both construction workers and road users.
“At the moment, there are no obstacles to safe and comfortable passage. The contracting organization and engineering supervision urge drivers to strictly adhere to traffic rules, pay attention to temporary road signs, and be cautious when passing through areas with road works,” the Ministry of Transport added.
