In his statement, Yermak noted: "I am going to the front lines and am ready for any consequences. I am an honest and decent person... I have been humiliated, and no one has defended my dignity, despite the fact that I have been in Kyiv since February 24, 2022. I do not want to create problems for Zelensky, so I am going to the front. I am outraged by the lies directed at me, and especially by the lack of support from those who know the truth."

He did not specify when and how exactly he planned to go to the front.

It should be reminded that on November 28, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree removing Yermak from his position. This occurred after anti-corruption agencies conducted searches at his home and workplace.

It was previously expected that Yermak would travel to Miami with the Ukrainian delegation on November 29-30 for negotiations with U.S. representatives; however, instead, the trip was taken by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, and the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Kyslytsya.
