9000 calls processed at the call center of the State Institution "Kyzmat" during the election period and voting

During the extraordinary elections for the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, the State Institution "Kyzmat" acted as the technical operator for the Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the preparation, new technologies and identification systems were tested, and a remote voting mechanism was implemented, allowing citizens to participate in the process without the need to submit paper applications or make personal visits. Additionally, voting using a digital passport became available.

For a month, the call center 119, operating on the basis of the State Institution "Kyzmat," actively worked on clarifying the voter lists. On the voting days, November 29 and 30, operations were intensified, involving about 40 additional staff members. Over the two days, approximately 9,000 calls were processed, including data verification for several voters and providing consultations.

Representatives of the State Institution "Kyzmat" noted that the number of inquiries decreased, which may be related to the implementation of remote voting and the improvement of the voter lists. Citizens could also check their data through the portal tizme.gov.kg, as well as by sending SMS to the number 119 or calling 1255.
