The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, is confident that the introduction of remote voting will make the early elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh more accessible and convenient for citizens. He noted that high voter turnout will be ensured thanks to new voting opportunities.

According to the president, now people who are far from their place of registration will be able to vote in the locations where they are. "For example, those who have come to Bishkek or regional centers on business can vote directly at the polling stations. It is enough to present a passport or a digital passport through the 'Tunduk' app. Personally, I spent only five minutes voting," he added.

Moreover, Japarov emphasized that the conditions have been simplified for Kyrgyz citizens living abroad. Previously, they were required to come to the polling station in their country of residence a week in advance to submit an application to participate in the elections. Now, it is sufficient to come on the voting day and make their choice immediately.

The president once again urged citizens to actively participate in the elections and noted that all these innovations are aimed at increasing the transparency of the electoral process and making elections accessible to everyone.
