Akmatov Aitbek Sadyrkulovich
Applied artist. Works in the field of book illustration. Born on October 1, 1943, in the village of Kazan-Kuygan, Tian-Shan district, Naryn region.
In 1972, he graduated from the Frunze Art College, and then in 1977 from the Leningrad Higher Artistic and Industrial School named after V.I. Mukhina.
From 1977 to 1979, he worked as an artist at the Union of Folk Arts and Crafts "Kyyal", from 1979 to 1982 - chief artist of the Experimental Laboratory for Artistic Crafts, and in 1982 - freelance artist at the publishing house "Kyrgyzstan".
Since 1988, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
Participant in republican and international exhibitions. His works are held in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev, as well as in the Ministry of Culture of the USSR and in private collections.
