In the south of the country, the Zagara-2 sites in the Kara-Suu district of the Osh region, as well as Urmizan, Kozhokelen, and Besh-Burhan, are already operational and in the process of working. The company focuses on two main tasks: ensuring the country has a sufficient supply of coal and maintaining affordable prices.

In the south of the republic, coal from the deposits is sold at a price of 3,200–3,300 soms per ton, and anyone interested can purchase it directly at the extraction site.

In the southern region, including the city of Osh and the Osh region, the price of coal at "Kyrgyz Komur" warehouses does not exceed 6,000 soms per ton. In comparison, private mines sell coal at prices ranging from 8,000 to 9,000 soms, and in some places, the price reaches 10,000 soms per ton. The deputy director clarified that the company intends to continue keeping the price at the level of 6,000 soms.
