- In Kyrgyzstan, $450,000 has been allocated for each of the 40 rural districts as grant support. This was reported by Nazgul Akzholova, the chief specialist of the regional development department, and project coordinator Mayrambek Bayaliev.

Funding will be directed towards implementing social and economic initiatives, creating new jobs, and developing local infrastructure. Project participants will also receive informational support and will be able to participate in training events.

The project aims to improve the socio-economic situation in the regions. Out of the 40 rural districts, the 20 most successful will be selected for further cooperation in a broader format.

“The initiative supports the development of social facilities, water supply systems, and electrification, as well as irrigation projects and economic initiatives that do not harm the environment,” noted representatives of the Ministry of Economy.

Additionally, there is an emphasis on implementing climate-resilient solutions, including building insulation, the use of solar panels, heat pumps, and other environmentally friendly technologies.
