During the fourth people's Kurultai, held on December 25, Bektur Abdykalikov, head of the Association of Kyrgyz Students in Korea, proposed to introduce a charter school system in Kyrgyzstan on behalf of compatriots from the USA and Canada.

He noted that there is a high occupancy rate in public educational institutions, which often leads to low quality of education. Many families cannot afford private school tuition due to financial constraints.

“The solution to this problem could be the implementation of a charter school system. These institutions are funded by the government and are under its control, but are managed based on clear standards by private organizations. This model will allow for optimizing expenses and improving the quality of the educational process,” he added.

Additionally, Abdykalikov proposed creating a Council for Diasporas and Societies under the Administration of the President. This union of diasporas and societies on a unified platform will help them systematically contribute to the country's development.

Regarding the "El Umutu" scholarship, he also suggested increasing the volume of investments and establishing a quota for undergraduate students.
