In the run-up to the IV People's Kurultai, held at the Toktogul Satylganov National Academic Drama Theater, a meeting took place between delegates and the leadership of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, as well as representatives of subordinate organizations. This was reported by the ministry's press service.
During the meeting, important issues concerning various sectors of the economy were discussed. Participants addressed topics related to supporting small and medium-sized businesses, developing the country's tourism potential, as well as problems associated with crossing state borders and the marketing of domestic products.
In particular, the delegate from the Ton district of the Issyk-Kul region, Ermek Shamyrcanov, proposed an initiative to support the construction of a tourist ethnovillage, pointing out the need for construction materials. He noted that local residents are ready to build facilities and develop the tourism business on their own but need assistance in procuring the necessary materials.
Additionally, a delegate from the Kadamjai district of the Batken region suggested introducing preferences for beginner entrepreneurs. In turn, a representative from the Nookat district proposed support for artisans and assistance in sales activities, as well as the idea of opening a wool processing enterprise.
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce accepted all written appeals, assuring meeting participants that each one would be thoroughly reviewed. Delegates will receive official responses to their questions, and no issue raised will go unanswered.
